Been going to water gardens for years. Went for lunch with my partner. On arrival, the place was quite and clean. The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent and good value for money. After are meal, went for a walk around the pet store, the garden centre and the Koi pond. A lovely place to visit for food and drinks. Good for pets. And brilliant for outdoor garden and ponds needs.
Love the upgrade of the Cafe which has been well designed adding a raised seating area with mood lighting which is modern and inviting. A reasonable choice of food at reasonable prices too! We had the Park gate fish & chips which was delicious. The coffee was hot and delicious and I normally don’t like drinking coffee out! We also had a scone with jam & clotted cream. Delicious!Everywhere is spotlessly clean and smells clean too! You can see that as soon as people leave that table is meticulously cleaned and neatly laid out for the next customer. Attention to detail is applied even down to a sticker keeping a serviette in place around the cutlery. It all added to an enjoyable lunch out, and I would highly recommend.
Visited Wednesday morning, surprisingly busy.
But when we had the breakfasts, it could explain.
Not the cheapest around, but very tasty, good quality and very filling (didn't eat again until after 7pm!)
This was the "Daddy Bear" breakfast. No problems swapping fried eggs for scrambled (not everyone does this), and plenty of everything..
Fish and chips comes from the Parkgate chipshop, so would be good quality.
